The City of Lakes Loppet Run for Snow II

What: The Run for Snow II is a 5 kilometer Trail Race and Picnic sponsored by the City of Lakes Nordic Ski Foundation.

Where: Wirth Park Picnic Pavilion (Glenwood Avenue between Wirth Parkway and Xerxes) – across from Wirth Beach.

Course: Challenging and pretty course, mostly on Wirth Park/Loppet trails.

When: August 10, 2005. Race at 6 p.m. Complimentary dinner to follow.

Why: To raise funds for snowmaking at Wirth Park.

How much? $20 for adults (19 and over); $15 for kids (18 and under); Picnic is free. All proceeds go to the Wirth Snowmaking Effort.

Door prizes: Loppet entries; Birkie Entries; hand carved furniture, and more.

T-shirts: Limited number of t-shirts given on a first-registered basis.

Registration: Download the registration form or register on-line on the Wirth Winter homepage (t-shirts on a first come, first served basis – those that register on-line have a much better chance of receiving a t-shirt) or register in person starting at 5 p.m. on August 10.
